Joining forces with DisManic Distribution via E1 Music, Firewind’s hotly anticipated new album ‘Few Against Many’ will be the first release of this partnership, due May 22nd.

Firewind’s reputation as one of Europe’s premier metal bands was further cemented after the release of the critically lauded ‘Days Of Defiance’ which saw the band tour the world including festival appearances at Sonisphere UK, Graspop and Hellfest, support slots in Greece with Judas Priest & Scorpions and successful headline tours in Europe, Japan and N. America.
Produced by Gus G, ‘Few Against Many’, was recorded with long time band mates vocalist Apollo Papathansio, Bob Katsionis (keyboards/guitar) and bassist Petros Christo at "Valve Studio" in Greece as well as "The Sweetspot Studios" in Sweden and sees the band expand on their signature melodic sound with some of their most aggressive songs to date.
‘Few Against Many’ marks the recording debut of new Firewind drummer Johan Nunez (Nightrage). The young Belgian is regarded by Gus as a ‘phenomenal talent’, and anyone that witnessed him on the band’s ‘Defiance...’ world tour will no doubt agree.
Firewind have already announced a few summer festival appearances (including ‘Summer Breeze’ in Germany and Czech Republic’s ‘Masters Of Rock’) and will be announcing many more as well as world tour in the coming months.
Firewind will release "Few Against Many" through Century Media throughout Europe.
2012-01-12 FIREWIND - SIGN A NEW DEAL WITH CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS; REVEAL NEW ALBUM TITLE! Greek melodic metallers FIREWIND, lead by guitar wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band-member Gus G., can now proudly reveal to have signed a new worldwide deal (excluding North America) with their longtime partners Century Media Records.
Gus G. checked in from the studio to comment on the newly settled partnership as follows:

We're currently completing work on our upcoming FIREWIND studio album, which is coming out killer! I think this album will turn a lot of heads and I can't wait for you to hear it! Whether I've been working with CM on FIREWIND since 2005 or earlier projects since 2002, we've always had a winning team. FIREWIND then continued with successful headlining runs in Europe throughout September (with support by label mates Wolf) as well as all over the USA and Canada in October (with support by Arsis, White Wizzard and Nightrage).
