FIREWIND Members to attend the Musik Messe Frankfurt!
FIREWIND members Gus G. and Michael Ehre have confirmed their appearances @ this year"s Musik Messe in Frankfurt!
Gus will be doing 2 signing sessions on behalf of ESP Guitars and Blackstar Amps, see info below:

14:00 - Signing Session @ ESP Guitars booth (w/ Alexi Laiho & Michael Padget)
15:30 - Signing Session @ Blackstar amps (w/ Fredrik Akesson of Opeth)
You can catch Michael playing with the legendary Uli Jon Roth on March 25th and 26th!

ESP Guitars announce Gus G. new Signature Model!!
ESP Guitars has just announced Gus G."s new signature model, which will debut @ the Musik Messe in Frankfurt on March 27-28th!!

You probably already know that Firewind member (and ESP guitarist) Gus G. is now playing with Ozzy Osbourne. He’s designed a sweet new guitar for his new gig: the LTD GUS-600 EC. Based on the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse shape, this guitar is insanely cool and totally unique. It features a custom graphic finish along with custom “Gus Fire” inlays. Unlike most EC models, the new Revolver EC has a 25.5” scale with set through construction, and features a mahogany body with a maple neck (22 XJ frets) and rosewood fingerboard. It also offers Seymour Duncan Blackout ABH-1 active pickups, with a single volume control and an on-off mini switch. The Revolver EC uses black nickel hardware, including ESP locking tuners and a Tonepros TOM bridge and tailpiece.
As for the art design on the guitar, Gus wanted to go for something different this time. So he teamed up with Patric Ullaeus & Bjorn Johansson who came up with the graphic and the whole concept of "RockART".
Patric Ullaeus is an acclaimed director and photographer and among other acts, he has shot 3 Firewind videos and has also been the band"s photographer since 2006.

FIREWIND"s "The Premonition" coming in vinyl for the 1st time this Spring!!
Century Media Records will release "The Premonition" on vinyl. The LP will contain 1 bonus track and the release date is March 8th, 2010.
This is the 1st vinyl release for the band and will be available in strictly limited numbers! So, FIREWIND release collectors (or vinyl collectors) make sure you get your copy!!

Gus G. enters Guitar Wars!
Firewind guitarist Gus G has been announced as a judge at the final of Total Guitar"s Guitar Wars. Gus will join the judges" table on the night of 18 February at Bristol"s Mr Wolf"s music venue.
